CONTINENTAL TECHNIQUE Lesson 7.5.1
Working in rounds: Full Circle (Traditional Method)
Cast on 50 stitches using both ends of the needle
Push one end of the needle with right index finger down and pull another end of the needle up
Turn the needle so that yarn from the ball is at the front (looking at you)
Place a marker next to the yarn from the ball
Move stitches almost to the end of the front part of the needle
Bend back side needle toward the front side needle
Check that stitches are not twisted
Bring the yarn over the left index finger
Start processing stitches as if you use straight needles
Continue processing stitches.
Pull right hand needle upward after about 10-15 processed stitches, so that all stitches
are pushed back to the left side needle
Move stitches with your left hand toward the left side needle. For the first row, make sure that stitches are not twisted.
Continue processing stitches and repeat this process
Please, notice that when to pull right side needle depends on how many stitches should be processed
The more stitches are on the needle the less number of pulls you will be performing
