Cast on 10 stitches using both ends of the needle. Pull one end of the needle out
Turn the needle so that yarn from the ball is at the back (away from you)

Bring stitches to the middle of the needle and bend the needle
dividing all stitches onto 2 halves
Pull the bended area of the needle to the left so that one half of the stitches remains at the front and second half remains at the back

Continue pulling part of the needle that is at the front to the left until tip of the needle almost meets very first stitch
Bring the yarn over the needle located at the back
