Working back and forth and forming a selvage stitch (fabric edge)


  • Always knit the last stitch and keep the yarn at the back of the work when turning your work
  • If the second stitch should be formed as a knit stitch keep the yarn at the back of the work, slip the first stitch and knit the second stitch
  • If the second stitch should be formed as a purl stitch keep the yarn at back of work, slip the first stitch, bring the yarn to the front of the work and purl the second stitch
