Picking up stitches knitwise through both loops


  • You can pick up stitches with crochet hook or knitting needle
  • Quality of edge stitches is imperative for proper picking up stitches
  • Edge stitches should not be twisted
  • All stitches should be slanting in the same direction
  • Depending on the nature of you work:
        You may need to pick up each stitch or skip one stitch or pick up more then one stitch
        You can pick up stitches knitwise, purlwise or both
        You can pick up stitches through front of the stitch, back of the stitch or both or in combination.
