When you make ANY stitch you have 1 loop on the hook
Insert the hook into next stitch in the row Wrap the yarn around the hook
Now you have 2 loops on the hook
Draw the yarn through both loops in one movement
Repeat from the begining
This method is most commonly used for connecting separate motifs into a fabric
and for seaming
