    Lesson 12: Connecting two yarns

  • Connect end of the thread with new yarn, keeping both ends about 4cm/1inch.
  • Use-up both ends one by one, keeping short ends at the wrong side.
  • Do not cut ends if yarn is slippery.
  • Use this method with any yarn. However, when working with very slippery yarns, it is better to connect yarns in the beginning or in the end of the row and do not cut ends. Weave-in ends when you will be seaming.
