Prepare 4 double-pointed needles. Cast on 10 sts on two (first and second) needles
Take second needle off stitches and place the needle protector
at the back of the needle.
Divide both ends of yarn and position your left thumb and index fingers as
'V' figure under each of ends of yarn.

Insert 2 (second and third) needles in your right hand under the yarn around the left thumb
Draw the yarn from the left index finger into the loop that is formed around the left thumb
Make sure that the first stitch on the second needle is formed very close to the last stitch on the first needle

Cast on another 9 sts right next to the first needle
Repeat the same steps for the third needle
Check that stitches are not twisted and connect the first and the third needles into a circle
