CONTINENTAL TECHNIQUE Lesson 12.9.2
Knit 3 stitches together slanting left with second stitch
is always in the center (decrease 2 stitches)
Changing order of the first and the second stitches
This is very common technique for kniting 3 stitches together producing thick
knit stitch
Slide first and second stitches from left hand needle onto right hand needle
Insert left hand needle into the first stitch at back of work
Place your left thumb finger right bellow second stitch to prevent it from sliding
Take right hand needle off and place second stitch before first stitch at front
of work
Knit next 3 stitches together
Use this technique to focus on the decrease in the design, for example when forming
a raglan
